En la Región de Aisén existen 19 Areas Silvestres Protegidas, de las cuales 5 son Parques Nacionales, 12 Reservas Nacionales y 2 Monumentos Naturales, que totalizan 5.162.000 Has. Estas áreas constituyen una muestra única y característica de la hermosa diversidad de la Patagonia Chilena, en gran parte inexplorada: Hoy día es posible realizar actividades estrechamente ligadas a la naturaleza, accediendo a los Andes Patagónicas o Campos de Hielo Norte y Sur, glaciares y ventisqueros, selva pluvial, fiordos, islas, canales, ríos, lagos, y recursos termales, contando con servicios de guías y equipamiento adecuado a la zona.

In the Aisén Region there are 19 Protected Wildlands, 5 of wich are National Parks, 12 National Reserves and 2 Natural Monuments, totalizing 5.162.000 hectares.

These areas are an unique sample and representation of the beautiful diversity of Chilean Patagonia, wich to a great estent has not been explored. At present it is possible to carry out activities closely related to nature, having access to the Patagonia Andes, North and South Ice fields, glaciers, temperate rainforests, fiords, islans,, channels, rivers, lakes and thermal wathers, with the service of guides and an adequate equipment of the región.
